Sabrina Allison Design LLC offers a variety of different design and planning services. While each service is unique to the job at hand, they are all related in the elements and principals that drive them. Great design conveys a mood, inspires a desired feeling, and captivates its viewers— whether those viewers are house guests, or wedding guests.

Weddings + Elopements

 

My wedding and event design process takes your ideas and inspiration and develops them into the event you’ve always dreamed of. Whether you’ve been adding to your Pinterest board for months, or you are struggling with where to even begin— I can help. I like to get to know the couple, and illustrate their personalities with each design decision. I am an organized and logical thinker that can bring a sense of calm and order to the sometimes overwhelming process of planning and decision making.

I am based in Richmond, VA, but am always willing to travel. Many of my weddings are held in the mountainous regions of the state.

In addition to design, I offer planning and coordination services. There are multiple options to choose from to best fit your needs.

Event Management:

  • This covers the role of a traditional “day-of “ coordinator, but with communication starting 8 weeks out from your wedding date to create a more comprehensive logistical plan. I also work to style your planned decor to perfection when the day arrives.

  • This service aims to takes the stress off of you and your family so you can focus on the joy of the day. I ensure the details of your event are executed according to plan by keeping the event running on schedule, serving as the point of contact for all vendors and helpers, and offering guidance and suggestions along the way. I make myself available for the full day, including the set-up and break down of the entire event.

  • Pricing ranges from $2,850 - $3,450

A la Carte Event Design:

  • My specialty and passion lies in my creativity. This service is for the couple who has the logistical plans under control, but would like help translating their design daydreams into reality.

  • After getting to know you and your plans, I create a visual guide for your event design that visually illustrates what each element of your day could look like, as well as keeps all the details consolidated into one place.

  • I source where to buy and rent all design elements (floral needs, lighting plans, table linen selection, serve ware and tableware rentals, ceremony backdrop, gift table/welcome table, sweetheart table, guest tables, buffet tables, dessert/cake table, table assignment display and place cards, seating areas, candlelight, signage, personal touches, and more) saving you precious time and energy.

  • Leading up to the day, I coordinate your details directly with your design based vendors.
    This service can work in conjunction with another day-of coordinator or venue coordinator who helps execute the details on your day. If this is the route you take, I assist with translating all your design and decor plans to your coordinator so nothing gets left off the list.

  • If assistance is needed with setup and styling and/or breakdown of your decor, I can plan to personally execute that based on availability, for an additional fee.

  • Pricing ranges from $2,200 - $3,000

Partial Planning: Event Design and Management:

  • I guide you through the wedding design process, starting with the visuals and ending with the logistics to create a wedding that is both uniquely beautiful, and smoothly run.

  • Starts with a focus on designing, and then sourcing, all the things you will need to make your event look the way you envisioned. Sourcing where to buy, rent, or commission each element of an event from signage to table linens, to candlelight can take countless hours of work. I take this process on for you, using trusted sources I’ve gathered over the years, all guided by your budget. On the day of your event, I work to pull these design elements together, so you’re not running around sweating your makeup off, or working your family to exhaustion :).

  • As the wedding date gets closer, I familiarize myself with all your logistical plans and work to seamless execute both design and overall wedding coordination for the entirety of your event.

  • Pricing ranges from $4,250 - $6,250

Full Planning: Full Logistical Planning + Event Design and Management:

  • This is an all-encompassing package that helps you pull together every element needed to bring your wedding or elopement to life. Both design and coordination are covered to ensure a successful day from start to finish.

  • I take the reins on everything that may be keeping you up at night with planning your event, and guide you through the process so you can take the time to enjoy this special time. I assist with both the visual and logistical components throughout the course of planning to ensure you get the full experience of the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.

  • Pricing ranges from $7,750 - $8,750

Intimate Wedding Package

 

Peyton Curry, Vessel & Stem and I offer a collective package for local intimate weddings & elopements. Planning & design, florals, and photography will all be included in one convenient discounted package price. This package applies to celebrations in Virginia with approximately 30 people in attendance. We are happy to provide custom quotes for events with a larger guest count.

Interiors

 

My passion lies in creating interiors that work with the homeowner’s favorite pieces, and current architecture to enhance the look and feel of the space. When bringing in design elements, I focus on a mix of new and old, high and low, and bold and muted. Contrast, texture, and scale are my favorite elements to play with when creating a design that is both functional and inspiring.

I am most useful to clients who may have a few key pieces they’d like to use, but need guidance on how to pull the space together. I love the challenge of working inside a few set parameters- like seemingly unattractive tile that you’re not ready to fully demo yet, or a built-in bookshelf you’ve never known what to do with, but aren’t prepared to take out. The flow of the entire home is an important influence to the overall design, so I pay close attention to how each room communicates with one another.

My personal style is best described as sophisticated, yet livable, with an edge. I use a heavy dose of vintage or classic inspired touches, natural wood tones, and calming earthy color palettes with pops of dark moody hues balanced with hints of the unusual and unexpected. I am inspired by designers like Leanne Ford, Amber Lewis, Nate Berkus, Sarah Sherman Samuel, and Jeremiah Brent.

I am available to consult on small but important decisions like paint colors and sofa selections, to whole room or house design. I can help with things like finish selection and lighting swaps, but leave things like full-kitchen renovation and whole home remodels to the interior architects for now.
